I believe you choose the basic parallel plugin

Thanks for the response, but the list of output plugins does not have basic parallel on it.

Go to vixenlights.com and download the other plugins

Ok, I have the plugin I need, thank you. Now my next problem is I am using a parallel adapter express card for my parallel port, which I hope will work!! But for the life of me I can not figure out what port to use on my plugins?

What port does it show up as to the computer? Try that first. It may turn out that you'll have to change the hardware address to match that of your card, but try it first.

Don't know if you ever got this to work w. your homebrew controller, but when using a plug-in parallel card, I had to use the "simple 595 w. pulse width" to put two pulses per vixen output. When using the m/b based parallel port, the "simple 595" worked fine.

lpt0 is usually at mmio address 3BC (also known as the monochrome display card parallel port)
lpt1 is usually at 378
lpt2 is usually at 278

That is the way IBM defined them
