What is the easiest way to create a series of randomly changing colors across the RGB string using HLS?

I never got a response on this. Is there a way to do random multi-color effects with RGB pixels in HLS? It would be too much work to assign each individual pixel a color manually. I just want the strand to light up like the basic multicolor light strands you buy at the store.

There no RANDOM RGB color effects.

Okay, is there a quicker way to assign a different color to each pixel without right clicking on it and selecting "modify this affect"?

I ended up not using the rgb flags.
I created groups like all-megatree, red-megatree, blue-megatree & green-megatree. You can do some pretty cool colour scenes.

It called RGB Color Chase.

Either Horz or Vert - but not both at the same time.

Or create a random series of colors in a small area and use copy paste.
