Standalone C7 flasher

I was wondering , if there is a way to make ALL the bulbs in a string of C7's flash in unison ?
I had one way , but really not liking the idea much .
12 volt wallwart connected to auto flasher ( for turn signals ) and then to coil side of relay and output AC side to light strand .
If someone could tell me another way ... I would apprecite it .

So just taking a single strand of C7's and making them blink on..off..on..off ?

If that's your idea, a simple flasher circuit (like one using a 555 IC timer) and a standard SSR should do the trick.
