So last night I was pouring over the schematics to the Renard8 and comparing some items to the Xmus 16 and I might have found a problem. On the Xmus board the 485A inputs is on pin 5 of the "In" RJ45 and 485B is on pin 4, this is the same on the "Out" RJ45. But on the Renard8 485A is on pin 4 and 485B is on pin 5, on both the "In" and "Out" RJ45s. Has anyone noticed this before or Has anyone tested connecting these 2 boards together? Just wondering....

That is a known issue, and has been discussed over at the picdimmer forum a few months ago. The Renard8 is the odd man out. The xmus controller, the Renard64, and the (future) Ren-C boards all share a common pinout.
I have a new Renard8 layout that corrects that problem, and will use that board if there is another coop order.
