FYI
I was trying to realize why my signature looked strange and realzed the [img] tag and the upload avatar is block. I assume this is just another peice of the configuration as part of the migration that nees to be worked on when you get time.

I am looking into the sig image problem. As for the Avatars I was able to upload one. If there is a particular error message you are seeing let me know as I sometime see thongs you guys do not.

Since it seems that you are the only one that is able to u/l an avatar, it's probably a permissions thing. In Usergroup Manager if you edit the Registered Users group, under "Picture Uploading Permissions" you will see "Can Upload Custom Avatars"
i have never been behind the controls on a VB site, but i do know that it can be setup where only mods/donators can have sig images/avatars. So somewhere its a setting based on rank, or mod status.

Okay, I finally found this one thanks to omzig. The sig and avatar permissions change depending on your title. Supporting Members can upload custom avatars and have images in their sigs.

So how do we know if we are a supporting member?

Go to your control panel and check your group memberships.
I believe supporting member is defined as those that made a financial contribution/donation to the website upgrade/move.

You have to be a supporting member to be able to have images in your signature and an avatar!
If you'd like to become a supporting member, go to your user control panel, then at the bottom of the menu look for "Paid Subscriptions"

Hi:
When you make a post, look beneath your screen name. Says "Member" or "Supporting Member".
Yours, Trepidation0n says "Member".

I had been looking for the donation link for a while. It might be better to put a sticky somewhere for people to find.

No doubt. I know that I couldn't afford any of them.
Shortly after I became a member last year Wayne developed and released the SS series. It made me realize how amazing this place and the people are. And it has simply just continued throughout the past year.
