Vixen needs your help!!!!!

Ok Gang,

A couple weeks ago I started setup a Vixen help selection in the ChristmasWiki. Since then I learned that Aurbo99 has spoken with KC and started an actual File to be include with vixen in the near future. But now we need your help to fill in the blanks. Here is a link to Aurbo99's (http://www.doityourselfchristmas.com/forum/viewtopic.php?p=18478#18478) post. Go there and you will see an example of his work. you will also find a link to the work I have done. Now we need you to help by contributing what you have learned working with vixen this past holiday display season. There are instructions in the wiki to get you started. Lets show KC and the rest of the community what we have learned.

As of this morning, 26Jan08, anything that has been submitted to the Wiki pete started has now been incorporated into the .chm

There's plenty more that can be added..

you Scripters out there.. pull out a few examples and post them here or on the Wiki.. Credit is given in the .chm to all that contribute.

Background scripts.. show them off..

Segue scripts, overnighters etc.. show them off..

Got a way to create sequences that are easy for YOU to understand, let us know.. it all helps..

Dont worry about giving away your "trade secrets" or unique sequence runs for specific music.. all music sequences are "neutralized" removing any reference to copy-righted material etc.

If you encountered an issue while building a sequence and found or was told a work-around, again post it here or on the Wiki please.

Screenshots, while very helpful, are not required for those of you thinking you dont have the time to create them.

Just post your instructions, I'll go through it step by step and re-create your entry and take screenshots and clear up any issues as they are found. If I can take your instructions and replicate it, then its all good.

At this juncture, I'm not worried or concerned if someone has already created an intruction for a specific part of Vixen, If you want to send us your own version, it may jog your memory to something else you encountered while doing that.. besides in some cases, there are many different ways to reach the same results in Vixen.

I'll bump this thread periodically as the build continues.

I've been doing a few additons, and as the size of the file grows, the wiki is getting lots of pages that don't make sense except in the context of the help file.

How about making all the names for pages in the help file follow the format

VixenHelp:Page Name

That way, it will be easy to see what pages belong to the help file.
