Is anyone aware of a cheap 3.3V RS485 transciever?
The SN75176 is priced nicely but it's a 5V part. I'm hoping to complete my design as a 3.3V design. Any pointers would be most appreciated.
This one, ST1480ACN.
If you look at the data sheet, it is pin for pin and will work at 3.3V
Do not know who stocks it in DIP-8 though.

you coudl also try the MAX 3280E.. Depending on quanity you shoudl easily get them for about 0.60-0.70c..
