I have gotten some more requests for area specific forums. I am afraid there will become a time when there are just too many forums in the Events section. I think we should institute a forum rule that each area will have its own thread in the Events/Gatherings forum. If an area coordinates a gathering we can make a forum specific to the gathering. This way things will not get too cluttered. Now there may be a need to make a forum for different countries like the UK and/or AU since there are only a few people in each and they have different power requirements among other things from most of us here in the USA.

Let me know how you all feel about this.

I do think we should limit the amount of forums on the site. I also think that the existing forums could use some organization. A little rearranging to make things a bit more organized. Maybe a central area for the archives.

Threads are good enough for regional discussions. It is my opinion that the reason there was a Philly section was due to Brian's generosity when we moved the mini forum here to DIYC. It is not necessary to have a specific section for each area. A thread will suffice IMO.

Please feel free to remove the Philly section, and create a thread for us to discuss the next meet. I will create a link to it on PC when we get closer to visiting Greg's family next time...
