Could this be used to run full length rgb led strips ?.

From limited low output current dc controllers ?

I've never seen that sort of thing before. Looks like this allows you to "inject power" into a long run of "dumb RGB"? Neat item to have in the bag of tricks...

What this is used for is to extend the dumb RGB lighting. It takes in the signals of the RGB of the first RGB light length and then passes that on to the second RGB light length, This allows you to use a different power supply than what is used on the first RGB light length. Effectively with these you can control miles of RGB lighting with just 3 channels

Effectively you could use many of these to dim and control miles of RGB lighting from just 3 channels of control. You should also be able to amplify the output of a LSD48 so you could drive full length strips from the outputs.
