Nice job. I like the Frankenstien face. Different from the standard monster face. I may have to borrow that idea from you. What do you have your rope lights attached to? Last year was my first monster face. I'll have to add more for this year.

Nice job... are you willing to share the sequences? If so, I'd be real interested as I'm just starting on Halloween and I'd like to add these to my display...

These are actually all minis.. no rope...

The sequences are not originally mine... I just converted them to being usable with more channels and fixed a ton of conversion errors.. so, It would probably be in bad faith to share them...

Where can I get the Monster outlines (per channel) for my LOR S3 software sequencing/visualizer?

I've done the singing pumpkin and the 8 little ones and they were posted on LORs forum as timons_props.

That said they are really easy to do. You need to capture the outline pictures and use it as the background then just trace over it. Once done save it as a prop. When you use it just scale to the size you need.

I will be creating more props of David's but not for a few weeks.

When creating a new sequence, just select these as the "template" and it will setup your channels and populate the visualizer.

I think thy will only setup the older Visualizer, i.e., S2. If you want to do S3's new Visualizer you'll have to create them.

That said, let me see if I can make some free time and build the props for them and the singing trees. I'll try to get it done before the end of the weekend.

FYI, I normally don't assign channels to my S3 templates, just give all of the channels distinctive names and set the channel numbers when I use them. When I use David's templates I rename them and if I ever send a sequence to him I rename back to his standards. That way any sequence I do always follows a standard naming convention and channel order so no matter what the prop looks like I could plugin a pumpkin for say a tree and the singing would still be correct.

The templates I provide will work when setting up LOR S2 and S3 including the visualizer. Here is a short video using 3.14 showing how to set them up:

I do welcome any props people create for these elements!

Thanks,

Renard64

Just kidding about the neighbors... it is played at a decent level, and no one has any problems with it... they are all standing out in the drive way watching it...

I sure wish my house didn't have a gable end as hanging props is harder than on straight level eaves.

I did have an idea about that however. I was thinking about having a custom net made that's cut to the angle of the eaves. It would then be attached to the back of the eaves and would hang down to the ground using permanent attachments points on the back side of the eaves. At the bottom a pipe would be run in a pocket along the entire length of the net and secured to the driveway with sand bags. All of your props and faces then gets attached to the net. BTW, those custom nets are not that expensive.

If you wanted to change the look of your house then you could use outdoor scrim cloth that would be painted or you could project on it. Painted scrip would be a tad pricy however.
