Little help all, please.
I am not getting any notices from this forum, either from the auto subscribed threads or regarding folder threads.
Could someone reply to this thread so I can see if instant update is sending me emails.
Then I can at least troubleshoot a little
Thanks all
Corey

OK, got that.
Now wondering why the folders/subforums I subscribed to (which have new posts/threads) did not send out the daily notice, as I have set.
Hmmmm

Same thing happens to me, I get notices of some threads that I comment on but not the ones I subscribe to. Must be a setting or something...

Yep, I am subscribed to probably 15 folders, and get no notices.
Seem pointless to have a folder subscription function if it isnt active or funtional.
Man I want that time subscribing back!
It would be great if that tool worked.
I belong to many forums and email lists. likely many other forum members do the same.
I will not visit a forum unless I see threads I am interested in reading.
Taking the time to parse a forum daily is not conducive to my work day.
Forum owner, could you please review the settings to see how folder subscriptions are being handled.
Thanks

The reason some are not getting the emails is because the email system is limited to about 250 per hour. When the system sends out the daily notifications there hare about 600 to go out. Only the 1st 250 make it and the rest get bounced to my email. It is something I am looking into.

Brian, check the settings for pacing email alerts.
I have a mail app - phpmail - which I use for my business emails, I have to pace it send function to an email every 8 seconds to not tick-off my webhost and avoid being blacklisted.
I know phpmail can run from scripts, so something you may want to look into.
When your members get notices they tend to participate more.
