Search for Lights!!!

Well I got up at 5am to stand in line at the local Wally Mart the day after Christmas to get some christmas lights on sale for next year. Well after freezing my butt off they finally opened the doors at 6:30am. Got to the back and not one box of lights. I was frustrated and at this point I wanted lights. I called around to 5 different walmart stores within a 100miles of my house and non had any lights. I don't understand. I can remember in the past them having so many that I got boxes for .10 cents a box. Now they don't even have one? I dont' know if they just pulled them from the shelves to sell next year or what. I finally found some blue lights at Home Depot 70 ct. mini's and I got a case of them. I am needing white, red and green still. I just wanted to see if anyone out there had any they are willing to sell or if there is still somewhere local to them that have lights for a good price and would be willing to pick me some up and I will send paypal payment for lights and shipping? I have been so excited for my first display (2008) but it really put a damper on my excitement for the fact that I couldn't find any lights. I am wanting to do some mini trees. Let me know if any of you can help. I would GREATLY appreciate it.

ya i had been watching up until a few days before. they all mysteriously disappeared...lol

i went to walmart on the 26th and they had 3 red, 1 white and 1 green box, so i bought for about $1.17 a box, than went to the target next door and they had tones of lights, i got around 105 boxes (10,500 lights) and payed $1.00 a box. they still had about 5 pallets of clear lights too!

I went everywhere, I was lucky enough at Home Depot on the blue and almost enough clear. I tried target here too. Nothing at all. I need lights!!! lol

Well , sorry , but I just got 52 boxes ( mixed between red , blues , and clears ) at Wally World in Dodgeville , Wi and they had PLENTY left ( actually , looked like a few hundred or more )
They sold for a buck a box for 100 twinklers ... ( had many other styles and sizes also available )
Also hit Menards in Madison Wi and they , too , had tons .
Hit the Super Wally World in Green Bay , Wi , and ditto . Picked up another 60 boxes there ( also a buck a box for 100 twinklers - different brand though )
And the Wally World super center in Prairie Du Chien , Wi also has a GOOD amoutn as well .
( guess driving over the road truck DOES have its advantages after all - LOL
