Newbies in Chicagoland interested in computer lights

If there is anyone here that are a newbie and wants to see a demo and learn the basics I am getting a group together to show how this is done. It will be hosted by a local hacker space that I visit. The space is in Glen Elyn, IL and date will be determined. It will most likely happen on a Thursday evening but a Saturday morning might be possible. PM me if your are interested and let me know what date might be best.
