Ok . as the post says ... I know WHAT I want ... just not sure HOW to make them . I am wanting a pair of snowmen for next year and would like them wireframed . I would like them to be approx 5 foot tall and made sturdy , but , not something so heavy its gonna take a forklift truck to carry them outside  . So .. if anybody has any GOOD patterns they could post ( or a link to it ) and also what gauge wire would I use and where could I get it ? I know how to weld and have both stick and wire fed welders . So .. if anybody has any ideas ... I sure would LOVE to hear them/see them.

Thanks:wink2:

Just do a Google search for coloring pages of snowmen and you will get tons of pictures that you can use. I would build them using 1/4 cold round steel rods and you can get it from any Steel company.

Here is a site that I'm using for pattern. It says they are free and I like free :freak:

http://www.northpolechristmas.com/index.htm

Get the pattern you want saved to your computer as a jpeg file and then go to this site.

http://www.blockposters.com/

Upload the jpeg to the site and it will convert it to a pdf file to fit any size you want. Save the file and print it out. Now the fun part. Lay it out on the floor and get out the scotch tape. Now you have a 5 foot paper pattern to use. This is the system I am using for wire frames and cut outs. I took a Holdman star and blew it up to a 3x5 foot pattern. Hope this helps.

Are you looking for a classic static wire frame.
Or are you looking for the animated ones like my avatar?

That can have a friendly snow ball fight?

Search your old posts for 2 hours and you eventually find the link.

Wayne J just built some for his display, so he may have better plans.

I actually followed those plans you posted. What I will say is, just make sure the snowman sections match up to the rope light cut lengths.
