Here is what you get when you combine the following:

1) a DIY'er tired of testing each channel with a multimeter
2) some SPT2
3) C9 vamp sockets
4) C9 vamp plugs
5) a scrap piece of wood

Much nicer than my setup(which I keep saying I'm going to neaten up). I just have a cardboard box with 16 c7 candles in it with the bulbs sticking out the top.

But that is more of a channel tester than a light tester... Yes it is a tester, and yes it USES lights to do that, but it does not test the lights... Just say'n ;-)

But you can't say it's a heavy tester - soooooo...

You could lay your forearm across it and call it a pain threshold tester.

Thanks guys. I like CaptKirk's description. Channel tester seems appropriate. That or portable shaving lightbar :-)
