... I don't do VB and I have a couple of thoughts of things I'd personally like to have in a control app, so I was considering writing my own. If it turns out to be something useful, then I'd like to share it with you folks...

Software blog

I had posted earlier that I would be attempting a piece of control software that was intuitive for me, but maybe useful for other people...
... It has a name now, and that's mentioned and explained in the blog (no laughing). It does next to nothing right now, but the blog can be found at www.xanga.com/oakskc

The Beginning of the End
Welcome!

Please feel free to give input via e-mail or blog comments. I can't incorporate everything, but I will give it my best shot. Please realize that this is a part- part- part-time effort as I have a full-time job and a full-time toddler son who has no siblings (and no, he will not be getting any).

Release!
Not that anyone knew, but we had a beta release date set for Monday the 6th. Well things have gone better than expected in testing lately, so the date's been moved up to TODAY!

Here is the website. It has links to download the zip file, as well as a link to the support forum. There's a listing of the known issues in there, so dig around, there's things you need to know. If you're one who likes to see where you're going:

Yes, the old sites are still up, you can still download Vixen 0.90 if you want to check out what it looked like in the beginning.

Can it become an addiction? I don't think so, just because I've been reading these posts everyday for two years doesn't mean I'm addicted. I can quit anytime I want.
All you new people don't need to worry, it's only a passing fad, YOU are in control. KC made it that way.

KC, I hope you've had a very Merry Christmas, thanks for all of your hard work. Feel free to add a PayPal donate button to Vixen's GUI, I don't think it would hurt anyones feelings.

To everyone in the DIYChristmas community...
Marry Christmas and Happy New Year
