Hello,
I would like to see the ability to add a D I/O along with 3 parallel port cards. The user would be able to input the Port of the D I/O card as some cards allow you to select the number you want to use. The coding for the program is identicle to the paralle port except that the port number is different. I have 3 parallel port cards along with a D I/O card which uses 252 Decimal. I wrote a program to do this but find that Viven has many of the changes that I was going to do myself already done. If this could be added then I could use Vixen to run all my lights. With my set up I am running 44 channels on a 200 htz with 32MB of ram. The code that I use to controll the D I/O card is Out 252,xx where xx is any value from 0 to 255. My program was written in Visual Basic 6.0. I have been running this progarm for 2 years now. However, I did run a simple sequence using just Quick Basic for a couple of years. RedBaron

Hello Everyone,
I think that vixen is the best. I just tried using the Basic Parallel addin and inputing the address of my D I/O card and it WORKS! My address port number is 252 Decimal or FC Hex. Once I put this into the program it started working. My D I/O card has only 8 relays so the Basic Parallel addin was all I needed. I do agree with one of the other people who said that even if I had to pay for this program I would pay for it. Thanks again for all of your effort in creating Vixen. I will put Vixen up on my sign so everyone can see what program is running my Christmas display. Oh and by the way I also use this type of program for Halloween as well. Red Baron
