Got a big donation tonight!

We had 7 inches of snow today, total whiteout for the majority of the day.

Only had a slow dribble of cars... I went out to put my new lights to music sign up and I peeked in my donation box and saw: a $100 bill!

It was such a great thing to receive such a gift! It'll definitely make our gift to our charity much more meaningful!

We are not accepting donations, but have had 20 or so people that have insisted on giving us money as a thanks for the lights and free candy canes we are giving to cars as they visit. We have probably spent $200 on candy canes, lollies & chocolates this season, so its not a cheap decision to do.

We are currently holding $31 & change, so after christmas we will be giving a nice $50 donation to a local charity as I refuse to keep any money given to me by the visitors. We are getting 300+ people a night in about 80 to 120 cars, and thats been happening each night for the last week or more. Before that was 30 to 50 cars a night after 1 December's lights on.

Any donation, no matter how large is a great thing for the charity you choose.
