Finally got a few pics of my very first display I'll post one here.
Running 24 channels of a possible 32 at the moment, trying to add a few more strings each day.
I kept it fairly small on purpose as not to give my new neighbors a heart attack each night.
7 song sequences running 31 minutes, looping from 6pm to 9:30pm from last night to New Years Day.
In the last 6 weeks, I've learned a TON of stuff that will definately not be forgotten and applied to next year, Mega Tree is my goal for my addition in 2008
Still a few gremlins to work out (random lights igniting). tweaking the sequences a bit more to not expose the whole 24 lights at once type of thing.
So far the response has been positive and supportive, got a local electrical contractor willing to toss a few weatherproof juntion boxes my way tomorrow after a 30 minute "dog and pony show" walking him through the creation and electrical side of things.
