This is my first year and the wife and I are loving the new light show!

I was wondering what times everyone plays their shows? I have been doing 6-10pm the last couple of nights. I have barely seen anyone watching. I was thinking of having my show 6-8pm and just some static lights until 10 during the weekdays nd then back to the 6-10pm on weekends. This may also save me a few bucks on electricity!

Thoughts?

Thanks
Todd

I run Mon to Thurs 6 pm to 9:30 pm and Fri,Sat, & Sun 6 pm to 10 pm.

If there are cars remaining....I keep show running till last one leaves.

I don't run any static lights expect on sign and our lampost once show is over.

Lightman

I'm 4:30-10:30 pm daily, from Thanksgiving night through January 7th. Next year I may cut back to 5-10pm insofar as I don't think we've had many folks before 5pm and only a few after 10pm. That will require a new tune-to sign, of course... (arghhhh)

This is my first year also.
I usually start around 5:30 or 6:00 and run it till 10:00. I've noticed that more cars slow down to watch around 8:00-9:00 than any other time.
Also remember that having an sequenced display running takes less power than a static one since all the lights aren't on at the same time.
Have fun!

Thanks for the ideas. My static display is maybe 10% of my total lights. I have 1 color turned on at a time for 5 minutes. I am not using my mega tree or mini trees.

Anyone want to chime in on how much their display adds to the electric bill on average? I guess I am a little nervous about a out of control bill!!!

Thanks
Todd

I run 4:30 - 10:30 seven days a week till Jan. 1st. In the past with about 3500 static lights and 4800 Megatree the bill went up $20.
