Hereby a small guide on how I made certain elements for my show (in this case LED-starts)

Requirements:
- (wire) mesh
- Pliers
- lights
- Time and patience (roughly 1 hr / element?)

Step 1: cut the mesh to size and curve it into 'eyes'

Step 2: bend over the 'eyes' upwards and install the lights

Step 3: once the whole bundle of lights is installed, try to get rid of the exessive wires

Step 4: make whatever shape of it (in my case a star)

Very clever, Henk! Did you also put the shrink-tube on the leds or did they come that way?

What a great idea! I am always looking for new ways to attach lights to frames.

Kudos,
Lightman

Very cool! Whats the source for your mesh?

Very cool! Whats the source for your mesh?

Source is just a local farmer-store. I had some left-over from building a chicken-home. It comes in rolls of 150ft x 3ft at fairly cheap prices.

The LED's were already shrink-tubed.

That should be sturdy enough to use for any number of easily-stored applications. Nice job!
