Switch DC via the SSROZ

I have been wondering if it is at all possible to switch DC loads using the SSROZ board and switching some components. it switch triacs for Mosfets etc.

it would make life a little easier if there was an alternate BOM for DC operation.

just wondering if anyone has looked into it.

Wjohn has a operational DC SSR. I have gotten a few boards from him i am building for next year.

There are ways to switch DC using the SSR boards. This involves using a different opto, replacing the triac with certain transistors (maybe a darlington, I don't remember), and trace cuts and/or jumpers.

But I don't think that it's worth it, use the DC SSR instead.
