I had aboutt 35 kids and was my first halloween with blinky flashy and got lots of great compliments. A couple of kids (no idea what they were talking about), but said that my house is just like the ones they saw on TV.. So that's cool.

Mine was simplistic, 4 rainbow floods, 6 wall washers, a moving cat, a talking witch, various pumpkins, some black lights and a few strobes stuck behind the bushes for affect, but not to blind people, and a video screen with a loop of halloween things running in my front window.

I used zero sequences, I wrote a script and ran that, but vixen continued to stop the script for no reason, and or Windows script error, so i had to restart. Shouldn't be a timer on the background sequence, I wanted it to run forever, or until it .net failed.

But was fun. Wireless is a hoot, running nothing but Cat5E is interesting and kind of nice. My new 12v Power supplies had no temperature to speak of. I've now got a visual on how the floods and wall washers work on my home.

Very cool, interesting what just a few lights and affects can do to a house.

The Ren48LSD and Ren-W ran superbly!

I need bigger eves, cant mix colors without seeing the leds and that's kind of annoying. So I'll have to figure out a way to get rid of the tubes and flat weather proof the wall washers or something to get them hidden and out further.

Cool stuff.

Glad you had a successful Halloween! Any pictures??? (hint...hint...)

I wanted to put some color under my eaves but my problem is they're about 25 feet up... and gravity isn't kind to 62-year old guys... (ask my stomach about that!)

finally Dave, I know it's a bit late but here we go.

Attachment window is odd/different testing. here nope doesn't appear to have added.

Including links

Halloween, simple maybe 8 channels. including 3 rainbow spotlights inside my pumpkins, used the floods to highlight the skull in the tree as well as really turning the house a nice shade of purple. Animated witch, moving cat, and a couple of black lights over my doors. Quite basic, using no more than a background script. But it worked. Very basic, low channel count but I liked it as did all the kids.

The Rainbow washers stayed just fine with only tie straps stuck up in my vents, remained very sturdy and the take down was quite easy, quick!
