Bought two FM-02s from WLC. Built two dipoles from Wiki instructions.
One set is for my DIYC, other set for a buddy with different objective.

WLC Chris included the test stubby antennas and BNC adapters!

Checked both FM-02 setups in neighborhood with stubbies....
half a block each with great fidelity and no noise.

...and then dipoles:
3/10 mile easy. Way further than necessary for me, my buddy and the FCC.

I suspect this has been answered in a few other posts, but where can I get a few of the transmitter enclosures?

You have to make your own.
There are no standard enclosures, nor does the manufacturer offer one.

The FM-02 box in photo was reclaimed from some obsolete modem. However, had considered this box. Perfect dimensions, and you get a choice of colors and faces..... http://www.iprojectbox.com/serpac-electronic-enclosure-project-p-4.html?osCsid=3cf8c5b94437e93a4f38523a6d44e7af

I haven't looked at it really closely (read take this post with a grain of salt) but I saw a simple aluminum enclosure at Radio Shack that looked to be the right size: http://www.radioshack.com/product/index.jsp?productId=2062217.
Not quite so pretty, but priced right.

People on this board have been successful putting the FM-02 in everything from high-end enclosures to a double-gang electrical box. I especially like the ones put in an old CD drives and mounted in a computer.
