Hello, I got a late start on my school project and am running out of time. I won't have the required hours to program the singing faces that my wife wants to be in my display. I have 40 channels to play with on my renault boards. Can anyone help me out with some sequences for popular Halloween songs? I am fairly familiar with Vixen and can figure out how to cut and paste to make it fit my display.

Please help!

George

P.S. I am having trouble with my home PC and will be checking in on my phone from time to time, direct email would be appreciated, thanks in advance....carguy53714@yahoo.com

well with costs in mind then it kinda breaks down the channel count per face you can either keep the same or delete some user-ability when making your own....but if you use something similar to there system the programming will be simple as well ....but i completely understand i am glad to hear your doing such a wonderful charitable thing :) good luck with this project

I should be a little clearer about my intentions with this project. I was asked by one of my professors to help out with an after school project for high school kids. Each group gets 3 Renard SS16 boards and a bunch of lights. In exchange for making the boards, etc. I get my own Renard SS16 board and access to a renard SS24 to play with for halloween. I don't have a lot of time to program my singing faces display and would GREATLY appreciate any help in the programming department. I am doing 24 channels of standard lights as well as two 8 channel faces.

the vixen sequences at that site has the 8 channel faces already sequenced 100% done if you like the song and use that amount of channels they use :) all you would have to do is build the faces....landolights.com has the same songs with more channels of different sequences

You can use papagayo and this plugin to inport it into Vixen:

The site has a basic tutorial - that's about it - go through that and it describes all there is to it. Keep in mind there is no active support for that which is unfortunate as it could be much easier to use with just a few more tweaks...

On a side note - nearly 100% of our Singing Monster sequences come in Vixen formats now.

I just sent what I had. I use a Skull and not a pumpkin (Closed, little open, wide open, O face) but hopefully this will give you a head start.
