I agree this is a great song. I would do lots of slow fades from one color to the next color rather than fade to off. Maybe a major element in the yard following the vocals and the rest of the yard following the music. Fades across the whole yard side to side. I think Holdman did a slow song with effects like this. Try his "Mister Sandman by Pomplamoose" or "Miracle on 34th Street" videos for some ideas.

Try this site. This is a sequence shared done by Jewel. (you would have to have the song by Jewel to hear it. By I think you could tweak it to Jakie's version. I have to agree she is one fantastic artist and performer.

Well update, with the tip Fades across the whole yard side to side, I just went for it. It must have just clicked but I am about 85% done with this song just some fill in stuff, but it is looking sweet.

Glad I was able to inspire you!
Sometimes you just "gotta" do something (even if it's wrong) just to get started.
Maybe post a video of it when the season starts. Videos of the slow stuff are not common.

couple things here, my main cpu crashed that had most of my stuff on it :( I also have this song on my show cpu but I have to get it all set up. the song is 100% done and came out pretty good it is for 117chs. As soon as I get it, I will shoot you the stuff.
