2.1 & 2.5 on the same computer?

I currently have Vixen 2.1. I've been interested in upgrading to 2.5 but am not 100% sold.

Is it possible to have both versions on your computer at the same time? Also, if I upgrade to 2.5 and don't fully like it, will it be a problem to downgrade back to 2.1?

Yes,

Install 2.5 into a separate directory.

There is a downgrade util in the Vixen subforum, (I'm still looking for it to repost here)


I have 3 version on my machine

C:\Vixen2_1_0\
C:\Vixen2_1_4\
and
C:\Vixen2_5\

Is that downgrade util even needed?
I remember just opening a 2.5vsequence with 2.1.4 and doing a save as, and everything working fine.
