Is there a way to search the forums for specific posts containing specified keywords? The default seems to return threads, and for some of the longer threads (e.g. jstjohnz' DMX controller thread with 700+ posts and counting) that still leaves a lot to look through manually. I'm guessing it has to be possible, but I haven't been able to figure it out. Thanks.

Go advanced>select search single content type tab> type in a keyword> go to lower half of page under advanced options and select show results as posts>search now.

The Advanced search lets you use boolean operators:

AND, OR, NOT (-)

You can also search for a specific string by enclosing the string in quotes.

Example - Renard and Xbee not (Simple or Interest)

Edit: By default, when you enter multiple words, all or just one word may be found. I found out that you can mandate a word by putting a '+' symbol in front of the word.

Example - +Renard +SSRez Blue

In addition to the Search function within this forum, you can also use Google or other search engine. Much of the forum content is searchable from outside.

Once in a thread, there is a "search thread" search which will search the posts within the thread.
