Is there an easy way to capture what is sent to a serial port (or in this case a USB to serial adapter). The reason I want to know is that I have recently been given a serial based LED display sign thats programmable, and I would LOVE to have Vixen be able to send updates to the sign based on what sequence is playing etc.

Because the board is a rather cheap variety, I can find very little info on it, and was hoping that if I could work out what was being sent via the serial port, I could then try and work on a replacement bit of software or plugin that will send a number of standard messages to the sign.

I cant use Vixen to control the software for the program as it requires a number of mouse clicks & keypresses to open the software, load a file, then send the file to the sign, and there appears to be no way to use a command line sequence to send the file straight to the sign :(

Thanks.
