So I am new to this and have 90% committed myself to moving forward with the Renard system. Basically I am wanting to do a 16 controller that allows me to dim. I am stumped on the programming part. Do I need to order a programmer and a demo board, just a programmer, just a demo board, or what would someone recommend I order. Also, is their a how to on programming the board that isnt for someone with an electrical degree.

Thanks,

Brad Sloan

I picked up a very cheap programmer from eBay, about $10 shipped from china. Downloaded software free. Plugged into serial port. Downloaded .HEX code. Loaded into program. Selected chip type. Loaded chip into burner. Pressed burn button. Put chip into REN 16. Blinky-Flashy.

Programmed 16 chips in about 20 minutes.
