Hello. New to ths site. Been interested in putting a show of my own together. Been doing a lot of reading so far, and am still a bit overwhelmed about how to get started. I'm not an electrical genius, but I'm going to try. So I'll continue to research and maybe next year be able to post my show.

Thanks for the welcome! Maybe you can head me in the right direction. Where exactly can i go to get all the info I need to get started. I've downloaded vixen, and now all I need to do is get all the hardware.

You're already here. Looking around this forum (use the search feature to help) and reading the info from the Wiki will get you started. Trust me, it will take a while the read all of the info and don't get discouraged it it doesn't all make sense right away.

First select which controller you want

I'm also new to this but they said the "Grinch" is fairly easy and cheapest to built

Then if you decide which controller to use, go to to that forum and start reading.
