Compatibility of Renard SS Boards.

Ok, I have been away from the forums for awhile and there are tons of posts about the Renard SS boards. I thought I asked the question before and I have went back and tried to find it with no luck, so I figured I would just post again (apologies ahead of time if I overlooked this being asked previously). All of my current setup is Ren16 (xmus)boards and I just wanted to make sure that any of the Renard SS boards will work inline with what I currently have. I believe they will but wanted to get an "Expert" opinion :) Thinking of adding either a REN24 SS or a few 16 SS boards to my setup.

Yes, they work great together. I have a combination of ss boards an xmus boards and the worked fine all last season.

You will still need to add the power to the cat5 cable for the xmus boards. The ss boards will not supply power to the cat5 line but they will pass it through.

Thanks Chris, that is great news. Was hoping I could just build a couple of SS boards and put them at the end of the line :) Now I can continue my setup changes for this year. Looks like I am going to finally get to use all the spare lights I have. woohoo!
