Posting pictures

Can someone point me to instructions that explain how to post pictures to a thread? Also any insight how to paste links within a message would be great as well. I’m sure there’s a how to out there somewhere I just haven’t be able to find it. If there’s not a how to on posting pictures, perhaps someone can give a dummies version how to post pictures.

I consider myself technically savvy but I must admit, I can’t figure out how to do some simple tasks within this message board which is very frustrating…

Upload the pictures somewhere like photobucket.

Then, you can simply use the copy/paste for BB button on those sites. Typically they look like "[ img ] http:// URL TO THE IMAGE.jpg [ /img ]" (without the extra spaces... I put them there so this post doesn't get treated as an image).

As for links, it's very similar. You can wrap a link in [ url=http:// link you're sharing/ ] and end it with [ /url ] (again, no spaces between the square brackets). That will create a link.

For an example, you can click the "reply with quote" on somebody's post, which will put their text in the reply box. Click this post, and look at how the following image is done:

All the tools are there if you use the "Go Advanced" button instead of just posting a "Quick Reply". Like Matterdaddy said, you can host the pics somewhere, or upload them here for a "click-able" link.
