red led

I just built a board with help from a friend and it was working fine. Today I powered it up to try to test a short sequence with it and when plugged in the red OE led is on and channel 8 stays on steady. I can not find any thing in the trouble shooting guide that is helping me. Any ideas out there that I might want to try. Thanks for the help in advance

The PIC may need reflashed or possibly bad and needs replaced. Maybe just take it out of the socket and reseat it in the socket.

Thanks Wayne. It was one of those cases you worked to long on something and just did not see the obvious. I took out the diagnostic chip and put the pic in backwards.

I took out the diagnostic chip and put the pic in backwards.Oh that's bad. It makes the lights run backwards and pull in all the light. Your intire display will be dark then. :p
