I have a Pic+Pro programmer and managed to loose the CD. Does anyone have one that I could use?

Have you tried the manufacturers web site? I know allot of them have the software/firmware available for free download.

Have spent about an hour on google looking for this particular programmer. they are still on e-Bay but cannot find the manufacturer. I know a lot of DIYCers bought these several years ago and I'm hoping some can zip up and send me the contents of the CD.

My guess would be that it either uses PicPgm (http://members.aon.at/electronics/pic/picpgm/) or WinPic800 (http://www.winpic800.com/index.php?option=com_content&task=blogcategory&id=18&Itemid=64&lang=en). Both of which are free downloads.

Hi:
Try contacting your seller via Ebay E:mail. They may very well have a disc they would send you. Most of them are very cooperative. Tell them you bought it from them and misplaced the disc. Might work!

thanks,

I've bought several USB programmers from them, and they all work great.
You can download the software from their web site: www.keeelectronics.com

Just needed to dig a little deeper on the site. found k150Pro.zip. With a picture of my programmer. . . . :) Will try this and hopefully be on my way.

thanks!

Been there and downloaded ql-progv1.8en.rar. Installed it and it wouldn't find the programmer. Programmer not listed in device list. I bought this one several years ago. But thought the current SW might work. Of course it may not work on Win7 64 ultimate. . . . I'll try my WinXP machine.

thanks, Jeff

I think that Win7-64 is the problem. It doesn't like some of the older 16 and 32-bit apps... or perhaps better said, the older apps don't like Win64...

Nevertheless, I'll zip up whatever I have an upload it somewhere -- maybe the file library, maybe my own web site. Won't get to it until I get home tonite though...

If you right-click on the application executable you can run in compatibility mode - like WinXP/SP2 for instance - it may help within Win7/64.

Dirknerkle and all:

thanks for the help. I have downloaded the proper sw (after looking all over the site). I have several PC's to choose from so I just used my laptop (winxp) for the programming. I have installed all the drivers and software and have programmed my first 16F688 for my REN48LSD and it worked. . . . . :)

Thanks!

Awesome! You're now a master programmer! If you have any specific tips about Win7-64 and getting those to work, it might be helpful to others if you posted how you did it. That way it's not only documented that your issue is solved, but the solution is there as well.

Nice job!

I cheated and used my Win XP laptop for the programming. I may sometime (when I have more time) try to get it to work on my Win 7 64 Ultimate desktop. thanks again for the help. You saved me dollars and time by not having to buy another programmer. . . . :)
