I am working with a company called Village Lighting (very commercial based so don't ask about LED String cost!!) on possibly providing a couple of items for us. The one is called the Light Shark and is found in their catalog (http://www.villagelightingcompany.com/Support_Media/Catalog_new.pdf) on page 7. Its basically a very nice tool to enable you to roll up an store lights very efficiently and quickly (Light balls take up alot of space!!) It has an MRSP of around $13.

The one that really has me excited is called the "Light Vest" (http://www.villagelightingcompany.com/vlcpro.asp). The MSRP for a Medium is $66 and $79 for a Large.

Now Village Lighting is huge and they normally look for orders in the THOUSANDs range. I am working on getting prices that can help us get these items. They do not sell to the general public..only through distributers (which I am talking with them about as well)

I am wondering how many of you would be interested at these prices?

Thanks,
Chris

well...it seems that they are not too picky about how the distributer sells them. The prices they are offering them to me are higher than that (I will be buying some from those guys myself!) lol

I took an old trout fishing vest and use that. Works just fine -- plenty of pockets, velcro this, snaps, do-dads... They'll be going on sale pretty soon once May/June hits as if you're north of the Mason-Dixon line, trout season ends about then...

Chris,
Under accessories Lighting Village also carries vampire plugs. Wonder what kind of price they will give you on these.

way higher than you would expect! lol BUT, they get their plugs from the same Chinese Manf that has quoted ours. And, as a matter of fact, we are discussing a three way deal so that I can get our plugs from them at the same price without all the importation hassles.

FYI, I just found out that this is an inventory dump by a company in trouble.
