KC,

I know you have a lot on your plate. But one favor for me. Can we have a option to choose to use all 256 levels for the dimming. I am doing stuff in DMX and with only 100 levels it will prevent us from using some DMX equipment that use multiple channels to set positions. Also I have a new dimmer I'm designing that can truely take advantage of 256 levels with out the ends doing nothing. Make for a very smooth fade at slow speeds. I also need it to allow me to use vixen to do the color blends in some of the other stuff I'm doing that uses colors. If not I understand but I think DMX is going to be the thing in Christmas lighting before were all done and it requires 256 for the standard. Give it some thought and let me know. As always thanks for the great software.

Not a good sign I guess.

On a slightly related topic, does Vixen interpolate between the 101 values when the output is ramping up or down?

I have a note to get the 256 levels into the standard editor.

No interpolation with the current interpretation.

Thank You KC you are the man. I will be DMX 256 levels before you know it. and I will make you a LED color motion spotlight beta tester.

Sweet. :)

Tomorrow's (planned) update will have the change, but keep an eye out for places where I missed the change.

KC, I will add that the dimming does seem smoother since the update. Looks good so far!

So you're using the full 256 values? Good, thanks for the info.

KC, the values remain the same if I'm on % or on 256 - it just seems smoother dimming now (could also be from other changes in vixen)
