I know you guys like to know whats up first... Well heres some rumor about Stellascapes and its from the horse mouth.. or the packetheads mouth... Stellascapes is suposably releasing three new controller products and four new light assemblys in early march.. Don't tell anyone its supposed to be underwraps.. However what i'm told is that they have updated their E16 Controller, its now a bit more compact, its all ready to go, built into a polycarbonate case.. Its suppoesed to support E1.31 and Artnet, and there is some talk about a DMX daugher card, ( i bet it will support standard dmx, and that hyper-dmx thing ). I heard its easy to option out for a bunch of different pixel types, voltages and stuff. They also have a new E4 product which is pretty funky.. Its got a onboard recording and playback system.. ethernet and dmx widgets, and drives lots of differnet pixels.. Again all ready to go.. what is new is is the new entry level system.. They have a secrect code name for it, but i did'nt get to hear what it was.. Its some kind of controller in small tube that will drive a couple of strings, and its supposed to coming in very aggressively priced.. I'm also told it got a single cable that carrys both power and control signal, and it will run on 12-50VDC, and you can put it quite some distance from the power supply.. i'm told that you'll have change from $200 when you get the waterproof controller, and two strings of standard* pixel strings which have grown to 50 pixels per string.. How much change i dont' know.. They keep saying "Standards based" not sure what that means but i think they are pretty keen on making sure that it will work with pretty much any software. Other things that are happening in there, is that they are makign some stuff into DIY type kits cause they love the DIYers, and theres a bunch of new "lights" as well, but they are very very top secrect about that, and its really hush hush.. They have this kind of nutter guy whos in sales, ( whos very freindly ), but the good news is that their engineers are crazy about getting this stuff right, and are really pushing the boundarys...

Mums the word alright, if they find out i'm spreading this kind of rumor i'll get in a lot of trouble ok? And if you keep it quiet i can keep you in the loop about what's going on as i find out...
