I have decided to go in a different direction this year and am selling off some equipment. I have four assembled Frank Kostyun's Ren24 version 3.3. This was the second season they were used and they ran great. I had a couple of triac failures this year, but I have replaced any of the bad ones that I found prior to listing them for sale. These have the BTA04-700T triacs installed that have the more sensitive trigger for LEDs, but can only handle up to 4A, rather than the 6A listed on the board. They are in CG1500 enclosures with COOP heatsinks and 16/3 SJTW output cords. I used the 16/3 cords because I had a LOT of 16/3 heavy duty extension cords from my static display and wanted to reuse them without having to use those little gray three prong adapters. Since they had a ground wire, I went ahead and installed a grounding bar to tie all the grounds together.

They are all running the Renard DMX firmware and as such have had the DMX mods done to them (120R terminating resistor removed). They also each have one of Franks's DMX to Renard wiring adapter boards, so there is no wiring conversion necessary, just plug in DMX and go. They are consecutively numbered with DMX start addresses 1, 25, 49, and 73 respectively. If you want to change the start addresses after the fact you WILL need a PIC programmer and you will need to pull the PICs to reprogram them. If you would like different addresses, I will change them for you prior to shipping. I will also reflash them with Renard firmware of your choosing if you desire, but they will still be missing the 120R terminating resistor. Because they are consecutively numbered, the output cords are numbered to match the actual channel number, so controller #2's cords are numbered 25-48, #3's numbered 49-72, etc.

They have PVC pipes attached to the back of the enclosures that can be slid over a piece of rebar or 1/2" conduit that has been pounded in the ground. The enclosures have been drilled through to secure everything, but the holes have been sealed with hot glue afterwards.

I am looking to get out of them what I have in them (I probably actually have more in them lol), but I figure it's about $110 + Shipping + Paypal fees. They fit nicely in a 18.5" x 10" x 12" box and weigh about 10.5LB. As a quick check, it would cost approximately $22 to ship from 44613 to CA either UPS or USPS Parcel Post.

EDIT:
All four are spoken for.

Just a note, the install into the enclosures looks very nice. Doesn't seem like a bad deal since they are wired, have an enclosure etc.

But very clean looking install in the enclosure.

Must have been a slow day. It took nearly 24 hours to sell them :)

Think its because "New Posts" is still down. Takes a bit longer to look around for the new posts. ;-)

The home page still shows all of the most recently updated Posts, but I'm sure you are right.

At least 1 Ren24 is paid for, and on it's way! ;)
