8-16ch sequences

Hey

Iv finally got my lights + grinch up and running and id like to find some pre-sequenced songs etc

Im having trouble working out a quick method to do it and i really want to get my show going

preferably vixen 2

I have 8 channels right now. I've been using the waveform pluggin to do songs quickly. All my channels are on a tree from bottom to top so with a little bit of playing around I usually get a decent enough look. I normally expand the number of channels used, scale to that, them chop off some of the bottom and top as too much or too little is happening. I can usually get decent results in 15-20 minutes per song.

It's not perfect, but it's enough to get lights going flashy flashy with the music and keep people happy while you take your time with better sequences.

These are all 1.1 files, but you can convert them to 2.0. They should give you a good start.

Also, look in http://www.christmasinshirley.com/forum/viewforum.php?f=42 for some sequences.

how do you convert them?

Extract prepare.exe from your Vixen 2.0 beta download. Put it in your Vixen directory.

Get all the 1.1 sequences and put them in the Vixen/Sequences folder
Start Vixen, it will use Prepare to convert the 1.1 sequences
Open the converted sequences, they will now work in Vixen 2.0
