First of all, let me thank everyone that has bought our products and wish everyone a Merry Christmas! Alright, we will be kicking off our official Pre Order Sale on Monday, December 27. All of our pricing is posted at:
http://www.creativedisplays.com/SiteResources/Data/Templates/FileViewerLayout.asp?docid=552&DocName=Announcements
I would like to address a few things before I get inundated with PM's:
Earlier this season we alerted everyone to expect higher costs for the upcoming season. We are seeing prices for 2011 increasing by up to 25%. We factor in all things and take everything into consideration.
The following are some of the reasons:
Prices are based on the U.S. Dollar exchange rate in China which is down 8% to date and falling!
The international copper cost going from US$7000/ton up to US$9400/ton, increasing 34%.
The labor cost in China has increased 12% this last year and 30% over the last 3 years. The packaging costs are up 14%.
There is a natural phenomenon that happens every year! The China factories shut down for the last 2 weeks in February for the China New Year. When they return from their celebration the costs always go up. We place our orders in early February to lock in the best possible prices.
Now, are we the cheapest vendor out there? No, but we have been in business almost 20 years because we try to offer a premium product at a fair price. We have seen a lot of vendors come and go because they thought they could make a quick buck and didn't anticipate all the challenges that are out there. I realize we have another new vendor out there this year with lower costs. I sure hope they have factored in the cost of import duties and the escalating freight costs - there might be a rude awaking come April! I have been working with the boards since 2006 to allow participation in our Pre Sale. You might see some verbiage about a $1,000 minimum - this is for my commercial customers only.
Also, please don't PM me as I don't always see these right away. I can be reached at paul@creativedisplays.com for fastest responses.
We won't be taking orders until Monday, December 27 but for your planning purposes, our pricing can be found at:

I ordered everything from him last year and all his lights are dimmable (historically).
Agreed on the LED strings cost? (I was hoping it wasn't just me)

XTW == SPT3 ?
Last year all the zip cord was listed as SPT3 and this year there is a SPT2 and XTW so I was curious if it is a naming thing or did something change?

I just went to the site and after the introduction text on the web page; the bottom (where I expected prices would be) had:
Directory Listing Denied
This Virtual Directory does not allow contents to be listed.

Using Chrome that happened to me. Using IE I was able to right click and save the pdf's as IE wouldn't display them when clicked.

I'm new around here. How does this work? Online order? Phone order? I see that 50% is due now, and 50% later. Does the price in the PDF include shipping/handling?
Somehow I have a feeling this new hobby is going to cost me a lot of money!

Does the pre-order have to be a whole case? I see a price for each unit, but the main website lists only prices for cases so I was wondering.

Kinda the Same Question, but I guess we'll find out when the ordering is live.... The retro bulbs, it lists them as 50 per case, 25 per polybag, and 1000 per carton (C7's)
So is the minimum 25, 50, or 1,000?? I think it's 50, but not sure!

For years, the company I bought the SPT1 wire with an XTW rating told me it was SPT3. I think that was something they just made up. It is SPT1 that you want.

FONT="Arial"]As we get ready to kick off the sale tomorrow, I thought I would explain how we do it for all newbies to our sale.
You must call in your order. That way we can get all pertinent information to set up your account.
Once we get your order, we will E-mail you a Sales Order Conformation for you to approve (look it over real good, make sure address information is correct as well as the item and quantity information) These Sales Order Conformations may not go out the day you order, sometimes it takes a week for them to go out.
You will need to sign off on the order as correct (or make any changes) and than fax/E-mail it back before it is an actual order.
At that time, we will charge your credit card for a 50% deposit and your order is now complete.
When we get the inventory in (around June), we will than ship it to you and charge your card for the balance of the order plus shipping.
That's all she wrote! [/FONT]

ATTACHON PLUGS FOR ZIP CORD
these are the male and female ends that snap onto the end (and/or in middle somewhere) of the zip cord that will make an extension cord - correct? same as refered to vampire plugs? i appologize if vampire is a comp brand name.
rstehle

Yes, you are correct. I think different vendors call them by different names, but they are Vampire Plugs.
