ren 24 fading

I am using Beta 4 of vixen and my fading is choppy. I read somewhere to keep the channel open but for the life of me I can't find this option? Can someone point me to where it is.

On the setup of the output plugin (Renard)

Makes a huge difference.

I must be really tired I still don't see it in the vixen menu?

1. Select "attached plugins"
2. Highlight "Renard Dimmer"
3. Select "Plugin Setup"
4. Checkmark in "Hold port open....."
5. Select "ok", then "done"

Dosn't work for me I just went back to beta 3 and it looks great. So I am going to ride beta 3 for this season thanks.
