"Mark Forums Read" button

I have been contacted by a few people about receiving an error when utilizing the "Mark Forums Read" button accessed via the Quick Links menu in the Navigation Bar. The error referred to a missing security token.

I will spare you the boring programming details.

The issue should be resolved now. If anyone still sees this error please follow these instructions.

1. Log out of the forum
2. Close the browser you are using
3. Clear the browser cookies and cache
4. Open the browser and log into the forum

The issue should no longer occur. If you have followed these steps and still receive the missing security token error message please contact me.

I also had to do the cookie shuffle yesterday to stay logged in. If you checked that 'remember me' box when you logged in, and the next time you come back you have to log in again, do the same thing with clearing cookies.


Chrome Users:

If you are using Chrome, you don't have to delete all your cookies, just the DIYC ones. Do this:

Click the small wrench at the upper right
Options
Under the Hood
Content Settings
Cookies
Show Cookies and Other Site Data
In the search box type: doityourselfchristmas and wait a second. You should see at least one cookie (and possibly some duplicates)
Remove All
Close all the dialg boxes
Shut Down/Restart Chrome
