TIP: Sequence works on one computer but not the other...

My show went "live", though not everything is hooked up yet, last night with the rest of the neighborhood and one of the two songs I had ready to go would not load correctly or play but the other was just fine. Both songs had been sequenced on one computer and then copied over to the show computer. For the sequence that didn't work the grid wouldn't show and Vixen indicated it had 0 channels. I couldn't figure out what was going on and was thinking file corruption even though subsequent copies didn't help. Finally I tried something on a whim and it worked! Under the "Profiles" menu select "Detach sequence from it's profile" and generally follow what it says - expand the number of channels, etc. Saved it as a new filename, copied over and it works! Obviously you'd want to back up the sequence (and profile?) before doing this.

Keep in mind, I'd never "attached" the sequence/profile to each other in the first place and didn't do anything differently when sequencing the first song or the second song so it's a mystery how this happened and was driving me nuts for a day so...hopefully someone else can benefit from this tip. :)
