Vixen Help - ERRORs?

Hello all, well I love what u guy have created and id like to get into the long stressful nights that the magic of these lights can bring, but i just got one problem!!!

I DONT KNOW HOW TO USE VIXEN!

That’s kind of a big problem I guess, does any one have a basic tutorial on how to create a simple 8 channel parallel sequence?

I tried to play around with added effects to the channels just for testing, then I click the little left arrow button (PLAY?) next to the attached plug-ins, and I get an error every time, "ERROR - NO PORT SPECIFIED, EXECUION WILL NOW BE STOPED" can any one help me out here?

Goto "Attached Plugins" in an opened sequence pane. On the left side of the "Sequence Plugin Mapping" window scroll to "Sequence Preview" then "Use" will add it to your sequence. Hilite "Sequence Preview" then add the appropriate number of channels. Tap "Plugin Setup" button and the "Setup for sequence preview" window opens. Use pull down arrow, just to the left of "Clear All" to find and select your channels one at a time, then draw your light layout in the black area with mouse and left button. To erase mistakes, use right mouse button.
