On you c-9 strands is the side of the cord with marking your negative?

there is no negative in ac. In lamps that have screw in sockets the shell is the neutral and the pin is the hot. If you cant tell use continuity tester between wire and shell.

Sorry not negative but Neutral that was a bit vague but these c-9 strands no bulbs will be going directly to the Renard board. On the strands there is some of white line on most of the strands my question is should the marked line go to the N on the power out of the boards or does it matter.

It really doesn't matter it will work either way.

The wider plug is your neutral side of the wire. Or the neutral wire usually had 'lines' or 'grooves' on one side of it
