I've got two boards on their way and was looking at the recommended LEDs. I like red, then I thought maybe blue would be cool.
I found these, BUBC333W20BA07, on the same site. The only difference is the voltage. 3.2V-3.4V Typ 3.8V Max and the price. The red were 1.9 V-2.1V typ 2.4V Max. Of course I can't find the 1.9V blue LEDs on the site. Will the blue work or will they pull too much power?

Has anone tried to drive these via a serial port and a PIC?

Thanks!

Since the LedTriks boards use a constant-current driver chip, you should be able to put in LEDs with just about any voltage drop, is my understanding.

I do agree, blue LEDs would be cool.

I was feeling cheap when I ordered so I went with red. The blue are double the price, and since I'm planning two that was more than my budget. Plus I need to save room in the budget for some lights on the after Christmas sales.
