While in Vancouver I bought a staple gun just for hanging cables etc.
Works really well.
cCould use some 3/32 staples but the 5/32 work.
Lot easier that using a normal staple gun as I had to angle the gun and hope I don't hit the wire.
new gun no problem. It has a centering grove.

i have an arrow brand gun that has a groove on it as well

I bought an inexpensive staple gun made for hanging lights at Target. Thought it was the greatest tool I had bought in a long time, until I needed more staples. WOW! Two dollars for 50 staples!!!
