Finally got my boards working. Hint for anyone else when making a harness to power the board. When using RS232 you use Pins 3 and 5 from the RS232 cable for the ground and signal. WHen soldering a DB9 keep in mind that pin 1 is on one side and 5 is on the other side of the row of pins. I thought I had soldered to pin 5 but actually pin 1, thus no communication.
Funny how the board works soooo much better when it gets a signal from the computer. :oops:
