I just found out our soccer club is doing a trunk-or-treat this year...

I manage our U8 boys team...and have volunteered my car as our team's representation in the event.

Good news is, my car is an orange Honda element (pumpkin anyone?)...and our team colors are orange and white. The club is holding a contest for "best decorated"..

My wife is ready to go with vinyl cutters, art supplies, etc at work and will handle the decoration part ... I'm wondering if I can use any of my electronics to help deck things out...

I have: Many strings of orange led's, some RenardSS boards, access to power (or at least permission to bring a generator)...I'm also going to pick up a chauvat fog machine and make a chiller for ground fog...

Anyone have any ideas for what to do with this stuff?....

BTW: Will my renard's work on the generator...just thought of that...have to test...?

Last year, I took my Christmas mini trees and stacked them up in the back of our Suburban. ...I was able to use Wizards in Winter for the "Proper" holiday :D

I've got the one video:

The generator should work fine, it puts out sinewave power just like you have at home. Just make sure the generator is up and running before you start pluging in and turning on.

I used an inverter to power the computer in the car and was going to use a generator to power the lights on the Christmas float last year. Generator had a problem (too much blue smoke) so I ran the lights off a second battery and a second inverter.

The inverter in the car was a 400W unit and I believe I plugged it into the cigarette lighter. Had more than enough to power the computer, monitor and amp. The battery in the back was drained just as I entered the staging area upon completion of the parade - close one. I was running eight channels with C-9s and Par16 incandescent spots.

Cool, thanks!

I dont' think the fog machine will run off an inverter (at least, no way I'm buying one big enough for 1300W of fog!...so it'll be either hardwired or generator)

I thought about batteries for the rest tho...might still do that given that the lights are all LED.

Anybody got any good small channel (8-24) halloween sequences?
